Terms of Service

The short version

RaDdle is a free fan-made guessing game, run by one person as a hobby. Play it, enjoy it, do not abuse it. There is no charge and no guarantee it will always be available.

Who runs this

RaDdle is operated by ChaosCantrip and available at raddle.online, inside Discord as an Activity, and embedded on d2communityhub. These terms cover all three.

Using the site, the Activity or the API means you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use it.

Not affiliated with Bungie

RaDdle is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bungie, Inc. Destiny, Destiny 2 and all related names, artwork and content are the property of Bungie. They are referred to here under Bungie's fan-content policy, for a non-commercial fan project.

Likewise, RaDdle is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord Inc.

Accounts

You can play without an account. If you sign in, you do so through d2communityhub, and through Discord when playing the Activity — their terms apply to those accounts, and RaDdle never handles your password.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else is using it.

Fair use

Please do not:

• Automate play, script the API, or try to work out the answer from anything other than the game itself.
• Attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service, or get around its rate limits.
• Use a display name, in a Discord channel card or anywhere else RaDdle shows one, that is abusive or unlawful.
• Spoil the daily answer for other people in shared spaces.

Accounts may be suspended for any of the above. In practice this means someone trying to break the game for others, not someone playing it well.

Your content

Your games and results stay yours. By playing you allow RaDdle to store them, to show your results where you chose to share them — a Discord channel you launched in, your d2communityhub profile — and to compute the statistics the game is made of. Nothing is published anywhere you did not put it.

Availability, and no warranty

RaDdle is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind. It is a hobby project: it may go down, lose data, change, or stop entirely, with or without notice. Puzzle numbering has been reset before and could be again.

To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from your use of RaDdle. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be removed by agreement.

Changes and contact

These terms may change; the date at the top will change with them. Continuing to play after a change means accepting it.
